Minimum Payment Obligation for Recurring Subscriptions

I would like to request a new feature for recurring subscription products: a minimum payment obligation.

For example, the ability to set “12 months minimum”, meaning the customer must complete 12 payments before being able to cancel the subscription. After the minimum period ends, they can cancel normally.

This feature would be very helpful for creators and businesses who offer something like a 6 or 12 month payment period and need to ensure that customers complete the agreed number of payments.
