Stand-alone Phone Number field

Vendors who wish to add a phone number field to their checkouts are no longer required to also enable the billing address fields.

The phone number option for your product settings will now function as it’s own free-standing option without the need to enable billing or shipping address fields.

Simply go to your product settings, section 2(Checkout page) and enable the “Billing Phone Number”.

This will allow you to add a phone number field for customers to use and you can also make it a required field if you would like.
